He is a painter in abstraction and landscape...he paints
plein air in all of the four seasons we have here in Wisconsin. Bruce paints
poppies in the backyard, trees and sky in the Southern Kettle Moraine of
Wisconsin and in his studio, which is my home base as well.
Bruce is multi-talented working with oil paints, porcelain
and wood. here are some of his paintings and furniture...if you would like

This screen has been sold ($4000). It measures 8' x 2' 2
painted panels with 2 additional panels of purple heart wood ....final
measurements being 6' wide by 8' tall, double sided. Oil on board, title
"Straight Up". There are 3 screens in progress presently, sunflowers and

These days, the few and short days of summer in Wisconsin,
she is absorbed with motorcycle racing. Her boyfriend and her cover the
motard circuit ...he racing and she photographing...together they write
feature stories for Cycle News and other motorcycle racing publications. Her
"slick" page shown here highlights her portraiture and conceptual

Tanya
Bertram My sister, Tanya Bertram, is a decorative painter. Tanya is an avid collector of bric-a-brac, old furniture,
and oddities...I think her style is a combination of Swedish meeting with
Natives of North America and has a certain Asian sensitivity . This makes a
colorful and open blend of textures and color. |

Tanya applied tooled leathers to this
trunk front and sides...enhancing its Westerness with hand painted motifs,
beads and feathers, $450

Currently, she has been creating treasure trunks utilizing
tooled handbags, beads, fabrics and little treasured oddities. It is lovely
to store mementos in one of these one-of-a-kind trunks. The inside is as
lovely as the outside don't you think! |
